The Falcon's performance and manors have helped ensure that I have always had one ready to charge and fly. The 2.5m span class of models has been popular for many years and for good reason. Since 2025 I have developed a lighter lay up version of the Falcon, with a light tight weaved UHM carbon for the wings and lighter tails. This has delivered a 2.25kg carbon model ready to fly- the additional performance of this improved lay up works as well for the Falcon as other models.
The Falcon's planform is a forgiving one, I've thrown so many clumsy manoeuvrers at my Falcon without managing to flick it out of the sky. The Falcon has been the model that I used to gain confidence in flying on slopes such as the Wrecker.
The Falcon's wing can take large amounts of ballast- that help it to cut through the air in all conditions.
